WILD EVENT
Oakley Rodeo 2026
This year’s Oakley Rodeo was on fire! And that’s exactly how we planned it. For five incredible days, The Wild Kitchen team cooked at the 91st Annual Oakley Rodeo from morning until dusk, serving more than 3,000 people with food inspired by the flavours of the American West and rodeo tradition – all cooked over open fire. This year we did a collaboration with Ballerina Farm, which made the event even more special. We used their beautiful produce, ground beef, and fresh mozzarella to create a menu designed to feed the hungry rodeo crowd. It was the perfect way to spend our 4th of July weekend - by celebrating tradition, community, and the simple magic of quality ingredients cooked over flame. Over the week we served fire-roasted jacket potatoes loaded with Ballerina Farm ground beef and mozzarella chili, BBQ honey peach glazed chicken slow-cooked over the fire until beautifully caramelized, and fire-licked cabbage slaw made with fresh local produce.
