MEAT RECIPE

The Perfect Breakfast

Y’all know the USA is pretty good at celebrating a big breakfast, so I thought I would show you what it looks like! Definitely a meal that will fill you up ’til dinner! I’ve been loving getting to know the community in the USA, and how they love to gather around the campfire and celebrate the start of the day.

12 strips of bacon (cooked to desired crispiness)

2-3 cups blueberries

Maple syrup

6 Eggs (cooked sunny side up, or as you like them)

Perfect pancakes:

2 cup Kodiak cakes protein pancake mix

2 large eggs

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup water

1-1/2 teaspoons maple syrup

Equipment:

Skillet

- Serves 3 -

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Add Kodiak cakes mix, eggs, cinnamon and vanilla to a bowl with water and a little maple syrup.

  2. Grease a skillet with butter and heat to medium high.

  3. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet (you can drop some berries in the mix too, to make blueberry pancakes). Let cook until golden brown, then flip and cook on the other side for 30 seconds. Repeat with remaining batter.

  4. Serve topped with bacon, eggs, blueberries and maple syrup.
