Sticky Pork Belly Bites



Ingredients

2 kg skinless pork belly
240 ml treacle
240 ml honey
240 ml apple juice
240 ml
BBQ sauce

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Preheat Traeger to 120°C, lid closed, for 15 minutes.

  2. Salt the pork belly and let sit 15 minutes.

  3. Place on grill grate and smoke until internal temp reaches 90°C (approx. 3 hours).

  4. Chop pork belly into cubes.

  5. In a pot, combine treacle, honey, apple juice, and BBQ sauce; heat and stir until smooth.

  6. Coat pork belly bites in glaze and place in tray.

  7. Increase Traeger temp to 150°C. Cook for another hour, until liquid is reduced and caramelised.

  8. Cool for 15 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
