Join Sarah Glover and Emily Musgrove for a day of cooking and creating.
The cooking portion of this workshop will celebrate the magic of outdoor cooking where we will work with fresh seasonal ingredients over a range of fire techniques. Food will be paired with refreshing summer spritz as we sit down to dine family style and enjoy our creations. Emily will then lead a line drawing class inspired by the beautiful surrounds of workshop.

During this intimate day you will learn:
Fire building: Selecting wood, wood placement, fire structure and maintenance.
Cooking with fire: Approach to both flame and coal cooking.
Cooking over the fire you will create (and enjoy):
To start: Summer ceviche
Salad: Coal roasted peach salad
Steak: How to cook the perfect New York Strip Loin Steak
Side: Smashed sweet potatoes
Dessert: Fire fruits with whipped mascarpone
All this will be enjoyed with Sarah in a beautiful intimate setting at Encinitas, Southern California where you will have a chance to reflect on the days learnings, enjoy fire flavours of the cuisine and discuss cooking techniques with the chef in a causal relaxed setting.
